The Heartbeat of Willoughby
Willoughby Heights is now the most densely populated area of Langley Township. It sits on the south side of Highway 1 and east of 200th Street. It has seen a massive influx of new construction over the last 10 years with no signs of slowing down. It is one of the most sought after areas in Langley and our clients love living here.
Costco! Yes, it is very close by but good luck finding parking on a weekend! All the big box stores are located at the bottom of the hill at 200th Street, including Walmart, Best Buy, Home Depot, and Willowbrook Mall.
Willoughby also borders downtown Langley City, so there is quick access to all of the small independent businesses, restaurants, and shops.
Willoughby Heights At A Glance
Minutes away from everything you could possibly need
Willoughby Heights is great for the urban family who wants quick access to shopping and all the necessities, while still being close to Highway 1 for the Vancouver commuter.
Looking to go for dinner or a little entertainment? Grab a steak and lobster dinner at S&L then head to a Vancouver Giants game at the Langley Events Center. There are many restaurants, pubs, and ways to entertain the family, all within a five minute drive.
Willoughby Heights is known for its charming new detached homes, condos, and townhouses.
Mostly built within the last 15 years, this is a newly established neighbourhood that is growing faster than construction can keep up. For detached homes, the houses are typically large with smaller lots, and the condos and townhouses have an upper-scale feel to them. With many strata lots, the neighbourhoods tend to be very well kept.
Because of the dense population, traffic and parking can be a little more difficult during peak times.
Walking distance to everything, including transportation, schools, shopping, and restaurants.
Willoughby Heights is attracting young professionals and growing families.
If you are friendly and outgoing and would enjoy chatting with your neighbours you’ll love living in Willoughby. The community is very tight-knit. Be prepared for hundreds of kids to knock on your door for Halloween candy. Those little rascals will cut across driveways and hit over 100 houses in a night.
